Harrison Lake State Park is located in Fulton Co., within an hour drive from Toledo. The park is situated within the historic Great Black Swamp region, which was drained & cleared by pioneers in the early 1800s to make way for agriculture & development. Harrison Lake State Park preserves some of the wildness that once separated the swampy shores of Lake Erie from the high, dry plains of western Ohio.
Hike 4.2 mi. of nature trails, & refuel with a picnic at a picnic area offering tables & grills, along with 2 reservable shelters. Nature programs provide entertainment all summer at the nature center.
Pick 1 of 199 campsites with/without electric hookups. Amenities include showers & modern restrooms. Pets permitted on designated sites. Try camping in a Rent-A-Yurt or Camper Cabin.
105-acre Harrison Lake offers a sand beach. Enjoy laid-back boating, limited to no motors or electric motors only & launch ramp for easy access.
Fishing can be enjoyed from the shoreline or on the lake. A valid Ohio fishing license is required.
2006 Camping Fees are $16-$22/night for non-electric/electric sites. Rent-A-Yurt is $45/night. Camper Cabin is $55/night. Call 1-866-OHIO-PARKS for reservations.
