Oklahoma Prison Historical Museum

The Oklahoma Prison Historical Museum is the state's only museum detailing the history of Oklahoma's prison system. Exhibits include an actual ball and chain, "Ol Sparky," Oklahoma's electric chair, items owned by prisoners, and numerous historical photos.
This is also the location of the Prison Rodeo held annually in September. This unique "behind the walls" prison rodeo features PRCA cowboys as well as inmate cowboy teams.

Hours: Open Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sunday, 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
Closed holidays.
