Nebraska Chautauqua

Jun
3–7

The Nebraska Humanities Council, along with the Richardson County Arts and Humanities Council, and the Lodging Tax Committee, welcome four historical scholars to the town of Falls City for the Nebraska Chautauqua. This year’s theme is “Bright Dreams, Hard Times: America in the 30’s.” Each evening, under a huge “revival-style” tent, a scholar will role-play an historical figure from the Dust Bowl era. The location is the Stanton lake area at 26th and Hiland Streets on the northwest edge of Falls City.
