The annual Christmas Parade is always held the 2nd Saturday of December at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy the parade and then visit Santa's Workshop for games and crafts for children 12 and under. The Sallisaw Chamber sponsors the Parade and gives cash prizes to float winners in 3 categories.

Cherokee National Cemetery
The Cherokee National Cemetery is a National Historic Landmark maintained by the Cherokee Nation from before the Civil War until its transfer to the town of Fort Gibson in 1906. William P. Ross and other officials and dignitaries are buried in this cemetery.
