French Broad River
One of only a few rivers running north in the US, the French Broad offers opportunities for many activities. Whitewater rafting is available from Marshall to Hot Springs on class 2, 3 and 4 rapids. Canoeing is fun north of Hot Springs on the calmer section. Fishing and hiking trails can be found all along the access banks.
