Wyoming
Wyoming is direct. There’s less in the way of infrastructure, fewer distractions, and more space between places.
The western side carries most of the elevation and draws most of the traffic, but even there, the experience is still defined by distance and movement. Head east and the landscape opens into plains where the horizon becomes the dominant feature.
Trips here are rarely about squeezing in multiple stops. They’re about committing to a direction and letting the day unfold along that line.
Summer is the most accessible season, but fall can be just as strong if you’re prepared for shorter days and changing conditions.
