Alexander Dickson House – Orange County Visitor’s Center
This 18th century Quaker-plan Farmhouse is known as the “Last Headquarters of the Confederacy,” and features exhibits, gift shop and an 18th and 19th century medicinal and herbal garden. It serves as the Orange County Visitor’s Center, coordinated by the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough, with information on attractions, lodging, dining and shopping in Hillsborough. Guided and self-guided tours available.
