Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park Beach opens for Memorial Day Weekend
The beach Lake Metroparks Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park will be open for the Memorial Day Weekend, weather permitting.? The beach opens daily beginning June 3 through August 27.? The beach will also be open Labor Day Weekend (September 2 ? 4) and for the Lake County PerchFest (September 9 ? 10).? Gates will be open from sunrise to sunset.?
Hours the lifeguards will be on duty and the concession stand will be open are from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, weather dependent. Sit-a-top ocean kayaks are available for rental by the hour at Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park, weather permitting.?
Directions: Take Rt. 2 to the Fairport Harbor/Richmond Street exit and go north to the light at the Richmond Street/Rt. 283 intersection. Proceed north (straight) for about 1/4 mile to High Street. Turn right on High Street and proceed to Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park entrance.
