Deep Lock Quarry Metro Park

The 73-acre Deep Lock Quarry Metro Park contains the deepest lock on the Ohio & Erie Canal, an old quarry from which blocks of Berea sandstone were cut to build canal locks and also is home to more Ohio buckeye trees than any other Metro Park in Summit County. Trails include the 1.2-mile Quarry Trail, the statewide Buckeye Trail and the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The park offers fishing access to the Cuyahoga River.
