Athens Skate Park

The 18,000 square foot concrete skatepark is one of the most innovative and challenging parks in the eastern United States. The park was designed and constructed by award winning Grindline Skateparks, Inc of Seattle Washington. The park is open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. It's free, open to the public and no pads or helmets are required (though highly recommended). Sorry, NO BIKES. The Skatepark is located behind the Athens Community Center off of East State Street. • 16' diameter fullpipe with capsule
• 11' deep vert bowl
• 9 1/2' deep pocket with pool coping
• ¾ bowl pocket with pool coping
• 8' vert bowl
• 7' hallway
• 5' tight radius pool-style pocket with deathbox
• Opposing pyramids
• 6' 1/2 pipe leading into street area
• Ledges, banks, boxes & a flat bar
• Euro step

* More additions and obstacles are being added over the course of the year. A higher pyramid and a tight transition wall have already been added!
