Fort Hill – Ohio Historical Society

Fort Hill, located off State Route 41 in S. Highland County, contains one of the best preserved prehistoric Indian hill top enclosures in Ohio. The natural history of the area, with its rock outcrops, contains a variety of rare and interesting plant and animal life. The 1,200-acre park is a great place for hiking, discovering wildflowers and learning more about Ohio’s first people. Fort Hill is operated locally by the Arc of Appalachia Preserve System.
