Heritage Museum

The former home of J. K. Elkins and Mr. and Mrs. William Browning became the Yoakum Heritage Museum in 1982. San Antonio and Aransas Pass Railroad artifacts are displayed. The Leather Room features history of the leather industry from the Chisholm Trail drives to the first tannery, along with vintage leather products from 1900 to the creative workmanship in leather goods today.
