Canary Islanders Cemetery

Established prior to 1732 by islanders who formed first organized civil settlement in Texas at San Fernando de Bexar, now San Antonio. Several Texas families trace lineage from those colonists. Off U.S. 181 some two blocks north at Texas 97/F.M. 536 intersection (Plum & 10th sts.)
