West Virginia Public Theatre – Aida

This Verdi masterpiece, transformed into a Disney classic, is a wonderful musical for romantics and adventure-seekers of all ages. An entwining love triangle grows when Radames, military hero of Egypt and betrothed of Amneris, the Pharoah?s daughter, falls madly in love with his captured slave, the Nubian princess Aida. When Amneris discovers this secret romance, she condemns Aida to death, only to discover that Radames has chosen to die with her.
