Ohio County Country Fair

The Ohio County Fair is an agricultural fair aimed at promoting agriculture and its related services and products to the non-agricultural public. While at the fair plan to attend the following: Baked Goods Auctions, Square Dance, Hog Calling Contest, Fiddle Contest, Hitch Class Show, Rock Throwing Contest, Baby Crawling Contest, the State Championship Pony Pull and more! Demonstrations will be held on old-fashioned apple-butter making, corn grinding, blacksmithing, quilting and log sawing. Antique farm equipment will be on display. Educational exhibits will be on display in the main tent. Also visit the livestock tent and the 4-H tent.

Hours: Fri- noon-9:30, Sat- 10am-dusk, Sun- 10am-5pm. Free admission and parking

Directions from I-70 traveling westbound, take Oglebay Park, exit 2A, go to first traffic light at Kroger and merge ahead onto Route 40 East. Got to light at the corner of Vance Church and turn left onto Route 88 North to Oglebay Park.
