Helveita – Swiss Mountain Heimatabig
The Swiss Mountain Retreat and the communities of Helvetia and Pickens will celebrate homecoming in the hardwoods!
Visit a Swiss town to enjoy music, an old-fashioned ox roast and horseshoe contests. Begins at 11 a.m. each day.
Parking is free, camping welcome, bring a lawn chair and sit back and listen to back to back mountain music. Enjoy hayrides, arts and crafts, cheese and honey making expos, quilting demo, our wonderful area foods and refreshments. The festival will be held on Hilltop above Helvetia Swiss Village at Grandpa John’s Hilltop Farm. This year, the Swiss Mountain Retreat will host the first annual “Jones Family Memorial” Horseshoe competition in fond memory of our lost Miner Jesse Jones.
