Scare the Square

Scare the Square is sponsored by the Aurora Area Chamber and Development Office, and is becoming a major autumn event for the beautiful and historic downtown square. Hundreds of pumpkins, sponsored by local businesses and carved by local children, surround the entire sidewalk curb around the square. Children in costume parade around the square and then go trick or treating at local businesses.
