Rock Creek Trail Days

May
16–17

The first weekend in June gives locals and visitors a chance to travel back in time when
covered wagons and the new railroad were the principle means of transportation along the trails that cut through the Fairbury area in southeast Nebraska.

Rock Creek Station State Historical Park, located 6 miles southeast of Fairbury along the Oregon Trail will play host to many activities including Black Powder demonstrations, Living History demonstrations, Mounted Cowboy Shootout and Buffalo Stew Cookout. Click Here for a complete schedule of events and contact information.

Bring your picnic basket and spend the day exploring the wonders of pioneer life. Don’t miss the mounted cowboy shooting action or the buffalo stew cookout! Bring your family and friends and enjoy the weekend.
