The Arkansas City Community Band will have a special Independence Day concert at 7 p.m. July 4 at First United Methodist Church, 2448 Edgemont Drive.

Seating is limited, so attendees are urged to bring their own chairs or blankets for this patriotic concert prior to the Fraternal Order of Police fireworks display. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. or dark. The show will be shot from Spring Hill Golf Course and music for the show will be provided by KSOK 95.9 FM.
