205-477-7976. www.walkalabama.org. Free admission. Starting Point: St. James Hotel,1200 Water Ave.—10km walk on paved sidewalks- many shaded by ancient trees. The route includes world-famous civil rights sites, ante- and post-bellum homes and businesses, and Old Live Oak Cemetery’s Civil War graves. Ask for the Walk Box, register and take the written directions with you.

IVV sanctioned. IVV credit is $3.00.
