Annual Virginia City International Camel Races

Aug
14–17

While they’re not known for their speed, these desert troopers hit the racetrack as a nostalgic reminder of the Comstock Lode’s bonanza days. In addition to the camel, ostrich and emu races, there are numerous specialty acts, daily parades and more. 12:00 PM.
