Lunenburg Annual Maple Festival

Full day of free and affordable family fun! Pancake breakfast 8 – 10:30. Interactive, static, and photographic displays, antique sugaring equipment, door prize drawings, “Quilting in Action” by local artisans, maple recipe samples, “Maple Season Memories” photo contest, maple quilt square contest and raffle, scavenger hunt, and guessing games throughout the day. Sugar-on-snow and maple cotton candy 10 – 3.
Maple pie baking contest judging begins at 10:30 with pie sales immediately after winners are announced.

Experience the diverse sugaring operations in Lunenburg during the local sugarhouse tours 10 – 3. Learn about backyard sugaring at the tree tapping demonstrations held on the Town Common at 10 and 2. Enjoy homemade soups and bread lunch from noon – 3. Maple theme and historic gift items available for purchase, including A Wicked Good Run and Lunenburg Historical Society 2014 calendar.
