Carolina Performing Arts is proud to honor Maxine Swalin on the occasion of her 105th birthday. Ms. Swalin, with her late husband, Dr. Benjamin F. Swalin, helped build the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra into a national treasure. The event will be a tribute to her great contribution to the musical life of the State of North Carolina.
