Thistle Meadow Wine Festival

Sample wines from Thistle Meadow and other area wineries. Admission $5, includes complimentary glass. Pre-festival buffet at 11:30a.

From I-77 take exit 83 (northbound traffic only) or exit 85 to US 21 north. Follow 28 miles up the mountain to Sparta, NC. At the second stoplight, take a left onto NC 18 South towards Laurel Springs. Follow NC 18 South for approximately 11 miles, then take a left onto Elk Knob Road (SR 1143) at junction with NC 113. Follow Elk Knob Road for about 0.3 mile; take the first driveway to the right, then take the first left on that driveway.
