Annual Mountain Dance & Folk Festival

The nation’s longest running folk festival. The annual edition of this three-day event showcases the best of the region’s traditional and old-time musicians, mountain dance groups, cloggers, ballad singers and storytellers. 7:00p.m. nightly at Diana Wortham Theater. First weekend in August.
