Thanksgiving Wood Kiln Opening

Oct–Nov
31–1

A long-time favorite of visitors to the High Country, Traditions Pottery is owned and run by a family related to the Seagrove potters. Visitors are invited to view the artistry of these Appalachian craftsmen. Be present at 9:00 a.m. to watch potters unload the wood kiln. Find face jugs such as Santas, wizards and cry babies, Rebekah pitchers, candlesticks, sculpted chickens, and other traditional wares. Plenty of Christmas RED pottery will also be available. Food will be served. Free admission.
Enjoy “old time mountain music.”
