The year is 1941 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. The enthusiastic Pastor Melvin Oglethorpe enlists the Sanders Family Singers in his efforts to bring his tiny congregation into the modern world. Evening performances begin at 8 pm; matinees begin at 2:30 pm.
