Sunset Safari at the Wilds

May–Sep
16–5

Twilight is a very special time of day to experience the Wilds, one of the largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers in the world. Saturday evenings June through September you can enjoy a buffet dinner on the deck of the Overlook Cafe, then board one of our Open-Air (weather permitting) Safari Transports for a guided tour through our open-range animal areas, where rhinos, giraffes, antelope and other animals roam in large, natural habitats. This tour includes a brief stop at The Lake Trail. This stop on the tour features a walking trail and overlooks the largest lake on the property. You will also stop at some of our unique animal management centers such as those for cranes, rhinos and other hoofstock, as well as our Mid-Sized Carnivore Conservation Center. Your tour will be escorted by a member of the Wilds' animal management staff who can answer your questions about our important conservation work.
