Field Day of the Past

Experience a fascinating bygone era in a brand-new location — Mount Airy Farm in Dinwiddie County — at this 33rd annual event featuring exciting midway rides for all ages, Heritage Village demonstrations & displays, horse & mule pulls, lawn & garden tractor pulls, live music including The Shooters Band and Mountain Highway bluegrass band, Virginia High School Rodeo, a Cruise-In, animal exhibits, equestrian events, antique machinery exhibits, kids’ activities, arts & crafts vendors, a flea market and fair food for every appetite.

Field Day Admission: $20 ($15 online), $15 seniors, free for kids 12 & younger. For pre-sale block tickets (10/$125), call 804-741-8468.

Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36″ & taller) are $35 on site and online before noon Sept. 19 for $29 each, 2/$55 or 4/$99.

Ride tickets are also available on the midway. Pre-sale special: $45/50 tickets + 1 free ride. (Rides take multiple tickets each.)

Field Day gates open at 8 am. Parking is free.

Carnival hours: noon-10 pm Friday, 10 am-10 pm Saturday, 10 am-5 pm Sunday.
