Holiday Lighting Ceremony

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, Mrs. Claus arrives to approve the town of Paso Robles’preparations for Santa. Accompanied by costumed friends, she walks the darkened town to the park bandstand and throws the giant light switch as the clock tower tolls 6 p.m. All at once, festive lights illuminate the park trees, shop windows and buildings downtown! Naturally, the event is accompanied by heartwarming speeches from local dignitaries, by candlelight caroling, with cookies and hot chocolate.
