Stillhouse Hollow Lake
Stillhouse Hollow Lake is an extremely clear and deep reservoir with a maximum depth of 107 feet and a surface area of 6,429 acres. The main lake area is dominated by steep rocky shoreline with limited amounts of standing timber. Stillhouse Hollow Lake offers a wide variety of recreation including: camping, water recreation, nature trails, hike/bike/equestrian trail, picnic facilities, pavilions for large groups, hunting, fishing, and an environmental learning center. Stillhouse Hollow Lake is located near the Fort Hood Army Base, which has several points of interest for the military buff.
