Atwood Lake

Atwood Lake is located in Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties. An easy drive from Akron and Cleveland, Atwood Lake is a close getaway vacation. Atwood is one of the state's -- and region's -- top lakes for sailing and pleasure boating with 1,540 acres of water and 28 miles of shoreline. Atwood Park features a wide, sandy beach, vending area, changing room with showers, playground, picnic area and picnic shelters.

Atwood Lake Lodge and extensive recreation facilities are operated by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District(MWCD). Golden Age and Golden Access passports are not honored at MWCD facilities.
