Harvey County West Park
Developed in the late 1930's in the sand hills of western Harvey County on the Little Arkansas River. The 310 acre park is heavily wooded. West Park offers a softball diamond, playground equipment, enclosed and open-air shelters for rent, swimming beach and rental boats. There is a bait shop with boat rentals that is open during the Spring and Summer months.
Visitors are welcome to come and enjoy the fishing opportunities, hiking trails, beach and picnic areas at no charge.
Boating, horseback riding and camping are subject to fees. Daily or annual permits for these activities can be purchased at the bait shop or self-service booth. An ADA compliant restroom compliments the disabled patrons visit.
