Bay City

Bay City was established in 1894, as the seat of Matagorda County. Today it is a commercial center for farming, ranching, oil, and nuclear energy. As a port on the Colorado River Feeder Channel connecting with the Intracoastal Canal, Bay City offers recreationon on the river including boating, skiing, fishing, and a 28-space RV park.
