Donna

Donna was founded as a station on the St. Louis, Brownsville & Mexico Railroad in 1906. The town was named for Donna Hooks, the daughter of a townsite promoter. Today Donna is a retail center for ranching and the intensive agriculture of the Rio Grande Valley. The town proudly hosts abundant winter visitors.
