Ledyard Water-Powered Up-Down Sawmill

Eleven-acre park with 1870 up and down sash-type sawmill that was restored to operating condition in 1976, a working blacksmith shop, and an 1878 Lane Shingle Mill, mill artifacts of the Industrial Revolution, grist mill. Two-acre mill pond with picnic area. National Historic Landmark.

Sawing demonstrations are given on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. in October-November and April-May.
