Reno County Museum
The Reno County Museum features six rotating galleries that focus on the county’s rich history and heritage from the early pioneers to present day.
A claim house, outhouse, windmill, 1902 switch engine and 1954 caboose are displayed on the museum grounds. Interactive children’s areas are filled with hands-on activities for children of all ages. A recreated cabin and Indian tepee are available for children to crawl into. Museum staff will develop special programs and guided tours for interested visitors with prior arrangement.
Periodic special events such as classic car shows and storytelling festivals are sponsored by the museum.
