Wyandotte County History Museum
The history of Wyandotte County can be viewed in artifacts highlighted in permanent exhibition spaces. The oldest artifacts belong to the Trowbridge collection, originating from the Hopewell culture, over 3000 years ago. There is a vast collection of Native American artifacts as well as county items from individuals, businesses and organizations. From a horse drawn steam pumper fire engine to police badges and military patches, the collection holdings at the Wyandotte County Museum are vast and varied.
In addition to objects, there is an immense collection of historic photographs, books, journals and other archival materials in the Trowbridge Research Library.
