Sedgwick County Zoo

Visitors to the 247-acre Sedgwick County Zoo can see more than 2,500 amazing animals in eight imaginative and naturalistic exhibits including the African Veldt, a North American Prairie, Children’s Farm, Koch Orangutan & Chimpanzee Habitat, a Herpetarium, and Jungle.

You can take a safari through the Pride of the Plains exhibit, which features a pride of lions, warthogs, meerkats, and African hunting dogs. Or, you can get to know a salmon-crested cockatoo or giant anteater in the Australian Outback/South American Pampas. Train rides, concessions and a gift shop are available.

From Komodo dragons to caracal cats, flamingos to elephants, there is always something for everyone to enjoy. Come see why the Sedgwick County Zoo is the top family attraction in Kansas.
