Horse Thief Lake Fishing

Channel Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass and Walleye are the most fished for fish at present. There are length limits for now on Largemouth Bass and Walleye.
The fishing has been picking up so far in 2011 with very nice numbers of catfish being caught. There has even been a number of nice sized bass, crappie and blue gill caught so far. In June, July and August of 2011 the walleye were approximately 11-12 inches long so no keepers as of then, but they are growing fast. Don’t forget to look at the fishing regulations posted at the boat ramp.
