One of the last two-car inland ferries in the state. Guided by a cable stretched across the river. Ride gives visitor a sense of nature at its best. Saves about 20 miles for locals who want to get to the other side of the Cashie River and could be a shortcut to the Outer Banks for travelers. Free.
