Visit our 1950ish comfortable and elegant beach home across from an uncrowded, perfect beach. Relax on our porches after enjoying a full course, scrumptious breakfast. Our 9 bedrooms are named for specific lighthouses. Each room has a queen size bed for 2 adults are and a chair for lounging. Our 6 upstairs bedrooms and the spacious hallway with sitting area, have southern, hard pine, tongue and grove paneling throughout. 2 bedrooms upstairs share one bath. The three bedrooms downstairs are larger and have a private bath. To uncomplicate your lives there are no TV’s or telephones in your bedrooms. The common living room has phone access, comfortable seating and a TV for viewing. The wood tongue and grove paneling and nautical theme is continued in the common area.We serve a full country breakfast complete with traditional fare, homemade breads, jams, syrups and southern hospitality. Relax on the porches, swim, shell hunt, surf, fish, golf or tour the day away. We are located less than 5 miles from historic Fort Fisher, a lovely aquarium and the ferries to Southport. We are only 15 miles from historic Wilmington. We have many fine restaurants and several nice area golf courses. We are willing to make your reservations or Tee times. We offer special rates throughout the seasons, are open to family reunions or retreats, and will do murder mysteries for 3 to 5 couples. Our Inn is perfect for a honeymoon or that special anniversary. Internet access and fax capabilities are available upon request. We offer gift certificates.The Inn is nonsmoking throughout but we do offer our porches for this activity. Unless a family has booked the entire Inn we cannot take children under 9. Pets are not allowed inside the Inn at anytime. We accept most credit cards, have a cancellation policy and require a deposit for stays longer than 3 days. We also have 3 and 2 bedroom cottages, which are both available for summer rental. Each cottage comes complete with linens and dishes. A $100.00 discount is given to anyone booking one of our cottages prior to April 1st. Please call for rates.
