Alpaca Spring Valley Farm

Alpacas! Dynamic, huggable, lovable alpacas. Come and visit us to see these beautiful animals. You may be looking for an educational experience or an investment. The alpacas are a part of the Camelid family which includes camels, llamas, and alpacas. The camel and llama are used as pack animals. The alpacas are smaller and raised for their fleece to make clothing. They often can be enjoyed as a family pet on land as small as one acre. They are a herd animal so therefore you would always need to have at least two as pets. They make a beautiful humming sound unless frightened then they will sound like a baby screaming.

You may visit our showing pasture located at Whitacre Springs Centre to see the alpacas from May 1st to Oct 1st or by appointment at other times. Our gift shop is opened year around where you will see beautiful clothing such as sweaters, caps, hats, socks, gloves, scarfs, teddy bears, and more  all made of Alpaca fleece.
