Appalachian Coal Town Christmas and Light Festival
Come join us at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine and Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia for the Appalachian Coal Town Christmas and Light Festival.
December 1-3, 2006, 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
Included in the price of admission:
Lights and decorations, underground coal mine tours with light displays and festive tours of the Mountain Homestead, performances by Theatre West Virginia and Community Church Groups, Bonfire with marshmellow roasting, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, exhibit at the Youth Museum, an apperance by Santa Claus, and singing in the Coal Camp Church.
Other events include the Beckley Annual Christmas Parade, December 2rd at 1pm through the streets of Uptown Beckley. And the Beckely Annual Holiday Market at Soldiers Memorial Theatre from 10am to 3pm, offering great gift ideas, crafts, and exhibits.
