The Batttle of Reed’s Bridge was fought during the 1863 Little Rock Campaign as Union soldiers tried to punch their way south while Rebel Troops tried to protect the Capitol. Historical marker highlights the battlefield which is being developed into a city park; listed on the National Register of Historic Places
