Big Hill Swimming Beaches

With Big Hill being one of the clearest lakes in Kansas the sand-covered beach has become a popular spot for cooling off from the summer heat and enjoying a family picnic.

To help insure your safety and the safety of others, glass containers are not allowed on the beach or in the water. In addition, statistics indicate alcohol is involved in a majority of drownings and for this reason alcohol is not allowed on the beach or in the beach parking area.
