This impeccably-manicured course, one of Tom Jackson’s newest designs, is conveniently located on Highway 9 on the north end of the Strand. Black Bear offers a totally relaxed and soothing atmosphere. Carved through a mixture of hardwoods and pines, Black Bear features 23 crystal clear lakes which gives this course its unmistakable distinction. Renowned architect Tom Jackson designed the par 72 with four sets of tees for every level of play. After a memorable round, we invite you to relax in the plantation-style clubhouse where you’ll find that charm, elegance and Southern hospitality are always par for the course.
