Historic Bridges
Canadian River Wagon Bridge
A 1916 steel bridge built over the waters of the Canadian River now is the focal point for a scenic hike and bike trail. The bridge provides a platform for viewing wildlife, including white-tailed deer, wild turkey and waterfowl. The area boasts an abundance of hills and valleys, cottonwoods and hackberries, a stark contrast to the surrounding treeless plains. A nearby recreation complex includes rodeo arena, fishing and duck ponds, group pavilion, driving range and RV park.
