Cape Fear Coast CVB
The Cape Fear Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau is a destination marketing organization set up as an individual nonprofit agency dedicated to generating economic development through the promotion of Travel & Tourism. Wilmington and New Hanover County, including the nearby communities of Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Wrightsville Beach are the destinations served by the Bureau. The Cape Fear CVB provides information and services to visitors to the area, as well as to meetings and convention groups.The Bureau acts as a resource of information about accommodations, attractions, restaurants, local transportation, shopping, area history, etc. It also acts as a resource for agencies that provide services to the traveling public. The Bureau is a single entity that brings together the interests of City/County government, trade and civic associations, and individual travel suppliers. It acts as a liaison between the visitor and businesses that provide the services.Stop by the Visitor Information Center, operated by the Bureau, for up-to-date information on all there is to see and do in the area that will ensure a memorable time. Visitor Information Centers are located in the Old Courthouse building at 24 N. 3rd Street (year-round) and the Cape Fear Riverwalk on S. Water Street (March-October).
