Chautauqua Festival

Rachel Carson, Black Elk, James Beckwourth, Audubon and Teddy Roosevelt are recreated to speak of the power of the land, the feathered, and the four-footed on the American mind. Recalling the entertaining tent shows that traveled across the nation a century ago, the audiences are transported into the past to visit with historical characters and discuss their lives and the America in which they lived.
